CQ Marketing Services, founded in Sheffield, South Yorkshire, was initially started on a part time basis in 2008 by Jackie Cook and became a full time business in May 2012. CQ Marketing Services
became CQ Strategic Marketing Ltd in January 2014 to better reflect the
strategic approach taken to the marketing needs of our customers. The next step for the business was also becoming a limited company.
We have over 50 years’ combined experience in marketing across a range of industries including engineering and manufacturing, and professional services.
In 2014, we moved into offices in Killamarsh, Sheffield. As the team increased in 2016, we moved into a larger unit and set up a Leeds office to support our growing West Yorkshire client base.
In the summer of 2017, we relocated our Sheffield head office to Rotherham, as a more central location for expanding our South Yorkshire market.

Jackie holds an MSc in Marketing Management, is a Chartered Marketer and Fellow of the Chartered Institute in Marketing. She has over 17 years' experience in marketing with engineering, manufacturing and professional services.
Jackie is joint Head of the Pride for the Lyons Den, a networking group for senior business
leaders in the Sheffield City Region, and is an associate of the Institute of Directors. She has
also been involved with Connect Yorkshire, a networking and personal development group
across South and West Yorkshire since 2012.
Jackie is a STEM Ambassador and member of the The work-wise Foundation Executive
Committee and Get up to Speed Committee, both involved with helping young people develop careers in engineering and manufacturing. Jackie is also a Mentor with the CIM Mentor Scheme.

Claire has 20 years marketing experience across a range of sectors including: manufacturing, professional and financial services. She is CIM qualified holding the CIM Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing. Claire has responsibility for marketing management including: strategy and planning, client service and target management programmes, market research, bid management, PR and advertising, website management, events, eshot campaigns, copywriting, social media.

Gaynor has many years’ experience in design for print for large corporates, SMEs and small/micro businesses, and set up as a freelance 9 years ago. Her work includes promotional and corporate documentation layout and presentation, branding, logo and graphic design and artwork, exhibition and display material, business stationery including business cards, flyers, posters and brochures, and high quality reports and tender documents.

Nicola has 25 years accounts experience having held Audit Senior positions for a number of leading accountancy firms, she then moved into industry as Finance Manager for various national charities. She is AAT qualified. Nicola is responsible for bookkeeping, sales and purchase ledgers and credit control.

She has a background in content writing, editing, transcription and social media management, and has worked in Marketing, Communications, and Administrative roles since leaving University.
